A claim asking the VA to raise your existing rating because your service-connected condition has gotten worse.
Why This Matters
If your condition has worsened since your last rating, file for an increase. The VA will schedule a new C&P exam to assess current severity. You can file for increase at any time.
Example
You were rated 30% for PTSD in 2018. Your symptoms have worsened significantly - more nightmares, isolation, missed work. You file an increased rating claim and the VA schedules a new C&P exam.
