Why This Matters
Your statement is evidence the VA must consider. Be specific about dates, symptoms, and functional limitations. Describe your worst days, not just average days.
Example
Your personal statement describes the 2008 IED attack, your immediate symptoms, how PTSD has worsened over the years, and specifically how it affects your sleep, relationships, and ability to work.
